Do I need mountain biking experience?
You don’t need to be an expert mountain biker, but you should know how to ride a bicycle confidently and be comfortable on rural roads, uneven terrain, climbs and descents. The tour is considered moderate level.
What’s included in the tour?
The tour includes a mountain bike and helmet, an English-speaking local guide, pre-ride bike fitting and safety briefing, basic mechanical assistance, a support vehicle during the route, and return transport from Yotala to Sucre.
What kind of bikes do you use?
We use mountain bikes suitable for the route. Before departure, we select the bike according to your height and make the necessary adjustments for a comfortable and safe ride.
What should I bring?
We recommend comfortable sports clothing, suitable shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, water and a light jacket. During the rainy season, bring rain protection. You may also bring a swimsuit, as some departures may offer the possibility of visiting a pool in Yotala, subject to availability.
Where do we meet?
The meeting point is La Recoleta in Sucre at 9:30 AM. Before departure, we’ll prepare the bikes, make the final adjustments and give you a short safety briefing.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If weather or route conditions do not allow the planned ride to be completed safely, we may adjust the departure time, adapt the route or reschedule the tour in coordination with the participants.
Should I book in advance?
Yes. We recommend booking in advance because availability depends on the bicycles, guide and support vehicle. We’ll ask for each participant’s approximate height to prepare the appropriate bike. A 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking, and the remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 24 hours before departure.
